The GV-HUVC/4K is a compact, driver-free HDMI-to-USB capture adapter that turns any HDMI source — DSLR, camcorder, or another HDMI-equipped device — into a UVC-class webcam. Windows and macOS both recognize it directly as a camera device, so it works straight out of the box with OBS Studio, Zoom, Teams, Skype, XSplit and any other application that accepts a standard webcam input.
It captures and outputs up to 4K/30p (with full HD as a lighter-weight alternative), handling stereo LPCM audio at 48kHz alongside the video. The whole adapter is USB bus-powered over a single USB 3.2 Gen1 connection — no external power supply, no capture box, no drivers to install.
At roughly 36 x 79 x 12mm and 29g, it is small enough to travel in a laptop bag, making it a practical way to bring a proper camera into a video call or stream without a dedicated capture card.
